Narrawallee
has a gorgeous beach with the most inviting white sand. You can
see the colour of the water change at different times of the
day and due to weather conditions. Narrawallee Beach is
patrolled from October to April off season during weekends and
the busy season daily. The patrols take place down at
the southern end of the beach. If you visit our beach make sure
you have sun protection with you and the appropriate clothing.
During January keep a look out for blue bottles; these
float in on the water on the NE winds.
If you like to have a walk along
the beach, it takes around an hour to walk up and back; at the
same time keep a lookout for dolphins, whales depending on what
time of the year you walk.
 A
timely reminder... Remember, don't leave valuables in your
vehicle; lock and set alarm. If swimming make sure other people
can see you. Remember that the beach is patrolled at the southern
end so, if you intend on swimming between the flags is the best
area.
Also, no dogs allowed on Narrawallee Beach, penalty
$110.00 fine. Animal Control do step up there patrols this time
of year.
Remember when driving around Narrawallee the
speed limit is 50km/h. Police have been seen with
speed camera sitting on Matron Porter Drive.
The residents
of Narrawallee hope you enjoy your visit to our part of paradise.
And hope you have a safe and happy visit.
